Guinness, who at present fills the multifarious offices of Resident magistrate, chairman of Licensing Court, warden, returning ■and registration officer, ooastwaiter (Customs), regialrar i f births, &c, receiver of gold revenue at Collingwood (Golden Bay), is on his way to Greymuuth to offer himself as candidate for representation of that district in the House. Mr Guinness formerly represented the Grey district in the Nelson Provincial Council.
