[FEB FBBB3 ASSOCIATION.] THAMES, October 25. Electoral. Election matters are exciting Homo interest, Mr Sheehan issues an address to-day. ;Messrs Speight and McCullough (editor of the "Star”), Oadman, Brodie, and Jas. Mackay are candidates for Coromandel. Volunteers for the FrontA meeting of Volunteer officers was held this morning. The Navala expect 80 men, the Scottish 50, and the Engineers 30. They are being sworn in, and all leave hero on Friday. WELLINGTON. October 25.
The Navel Brigade mustered this morning, when sixty-two men handed in their names as willing to go to the front. It is expected this number will be supplemented by the Petone contingent of the Brigade. It is intended to call out for active service all volunteers in the districts where any corps have tendered their services. This step, it is said, is done simply to place officers in their proper positions. The Wellington man leave for Opnnako to-morrow afternoon. DUNEDIN. October 25. Political The Dunedin West electoral roll contains 1242 names ; South, 1061; Central, 1300 ; East, 985 ; Peninsula, 899 ; Oaversham, 656.
