[betjteb's telegeams.] LONDON, October 20. Head Quarters of the Land LeagueIt now transpires that the statement recently current that the head quarters of the Land Leagne had been removed from Dublin to Liverpool is quito premature. No change has yet been made in the seat of operations of the League. The Archbishop of Cashel, County Tipperary, Ireland, has written a letter, in which he condemned in strong terms the League's recent manifesto urging the tenants to refuse to pay their rents. The Land CommissionThe Irish Land Commission appointed under the provisions of the Land Act has commenced its sittings. Over four hundred cases are down for decision by the Commission.
WASHINGTON, October 19. Centenary Celebration. The Centenary of York Town, in Virginia, was celebrated to-day with great rejoicings. By order of President Arthur, the British flag was saluted as a token of friendship between England and America, and as a mark of respect to Her Majesty the Queen.
