[reuteb’s telegrams.] MELBOURNE, October 19, The Capture of the Kelly Gang. A progress report of the Police Commission has been issued. It recommends the superannuation©! Superintendents Nicholson and Hare, the reduction of Sadlier, and the disrating of Ward and Steele. The dismissal of the constables who wore at Sherrat’s hut at the time of the capture of the Kelly’s, and that of Wallin is also recommended. Superintendent Hare is severely condemned as a disturbing element in the force. The minority of the Commissioners dissent from the recommendations of the report. The Warship Europa. The Italian warship Europa, which went aground at Thursday Island, on the Queensland Coast, but got safely off, has arrived at Batavia.
