[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.! LONDON, October 17. Flight of a Rebel ChiefThe headquarters of the Irish National Land League have been removed to Liverpool, and since the arrest of Mr Dillon, on the 14th instant, Mr A-rthur O’Connor, M.P. for Queen’s County, for whose arrest a warrant has been issued, and who has escaped to England, has assumed the direction of the affairs of the League. The measures adopted by the Government for the suppression of the disorder in Ireland are being carried out with unabated vigour. A further large number of warrants has been issued by the Irish Executive for the arrest of “ Suspected,” and many of the local leaders of the Land League have already been taken into custody in the proclaimed districts. Telegrams to hand from Ireland state that the riots which recently occurred at Limerick, between the police and people, were renewed to-day, when further serious disturbances took place.
