It is the largest constituency in New Zealand, and I feel that special honor will attach to the candidate chosen to represent it. I have been requested to stand for an adjoining district, bat as my interests are identical with your own, I ask that you will do me the honor to eleot me your representative. You may depend upon my best and constant attention to all local matters, and to giving a careful and independent consideration to colonial questions.
