Moils close sk the Chief Post Office tor the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under!— SATURDAY, OCTOBER 15.
For Northern Ports, par Waitaki, at 7.30 p.m. The guard’s van must not bo used for this moil.
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 18. For Northern Ports, per Wanaka, at 1.45 p.m, ; late fee letters, 2 p.m. ; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. WEDNESDAY. OCTOBER 19.
For the United Kingdom, Continent of Europe, Ac., via Brindisi (specially addressed correspondence only). India, China, Japan, the East, Auatradan Colonies, Otago, Ac., per Te Anau, at 11 3U a.m. ; late fee letters, 11.40 a.m.; guard’s van, 12.i0 p.m. train.
The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, will bo closed at Christchurch ou Saturday, November sth, and will be due in London on December 20th.
Notice .—On and after Nov 1, 1881, money orders will be issued in New Zealand payable at »ny town in Germany. SIDNEY" J. DICK, Chief Postmaster
