[PEB PBBBB ABSOOIATION.J AUCKLAND, October 8, Criminal. The case of Samuel Keys for defacing coins is now proceeding at the Supreme Court. Sorghum Culture. Mr J. 0. Firth, of Matamata, has ten acres in sorghum, which he intends to manufacture into sugar. BLENHEIM, October 8. Political. Mr H. Dodson, the well-known brewer, has announced himself as a candidate for the Wairau. The names of Mr Joseph Ward, runholder, and Mr A. P. Seymour, are also mentioned as probable candidates.
