Moils close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as Tinder SATURDAY, OCTOBER 8. For United Kingdom, Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Cape ot Good Hope, Natal, &o (via San Francisco), Sandwich Islands, and Northern Ports of New Zealand, per Wanaka, as follows :—Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m. ; late fee letters, at 7 pm.; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m.; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard’s van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on November 22nd. TUESDAY, OCTOBER 11. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per Botorna, at 1.45 p.m. ; late fee letters, 2 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train. For Northern Ports, per Penguin, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, 3.30 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. _ SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster
