[eeuteb's telegbams.] Quotations. LONDON, September 29. Consols remain at 99 J. New Zealand securities are without change in price. Adelaide wheat, ex warehouse, 58s; New Zealand ditto, 56s ; Adelaide flour, ex store, 425; Australian tallow, best beef, 425; best mutton, 455; best sides of Australian leather, llifd. There is a fair demand for most descriptions of Australian hides. Wool Sales. At the wool sales to-day 7800 bales were offered. The tone of the auction was rather weaker. 24,000 bales have been withdrawn from sale since the commencement of the series. Dastardly Outrage in IrelandIntelligence is to hand from Ireland that renewed riots, directed against process servers, have occurred at several places in that country. The more serious disturbances have occurred at Roscrea, Mohill, and Blara. News has also been received of a dastardly outrage on a landlord's residence at New Palla. A barrel of gunpowder was exploded near his house, which caused its partial destruction. The perpetrators of the outrage have not yet been discovered. Defeat of Tunisian Troops by ArabsPARIS, Soptember 29. Telegrams received to-day from Tunis report that two severe engagements have been fought between the Arab insurgents and the Tunisian troops. In both actions the latter were defeated.
