PoliticalAt a meeting at Milton it was resolved to request Mr Driver, the present member for Boslyn, to etand for Bruce. Boundary Extension. A movement is on foot to extend the boundaries of the borough. If successful, it will bring fnily 4000 more persons within tho borough, making the total population about 8000. OAMAEU, September 27. New Woollen Factory. A large meeting of those interested in the establishment of a woollen factory was held to-night. More than the required number of shares have been applied for. A directorate was appointed, a site chosen, and the necessary proceedings will be taken for the commencement of operations. Destruction of Grain by Fire. 500 bags of oats, uninsured, the property of Messrs Joisop and Elder, were destroyed by fire on Saturday morning, at Ngapara, [VEOM OtTD OWH COBBBSPOSTDENT.I WELLINGTON, September 27.
