Sailed this morning—Union Company’s steamship Rotorua, for the Bluff.
Vote of Condolence.
In the Legislative Assembly last night a vote of condolence with Mrs Garfield was passed.
Smallpox.
The case of supposed smallpox at Yackandandah turns out to be only chiekenpox. Another suspicious case is, however, reported to-day from Benalla, in the North-east of Victoria.
ADELAIDE, September 22. Shipping.
Arrived this morning—Orient Company’s steamship Potosi, from Plymouth.
The Orient steamship Potosi experienced very severe weather on her voyage from Plymouth to this port.
Condolence-
In both Houses of the South Australian Parliament last night motions were passed expressing condolence with Mrs Garfield.
