[PEESS ASSOCIATION TELBQEAM,] HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES. Tuesday, September 20. MORNING SITTING. The House met at 11 a.m. THE PENSIONS BILL. On Mr Pitt’s motion, a message was sent to the Legislative Council stating that the House insisted on its disagreement to the Council’s amendments in the Pensions Bill. TOWN DIBTEIOTS BILL. The Town Districts Bill was received from the Upper House with amendments, which were agreed to. QUESTIONS. Replying to Mr Bunny, The Hon. J. Hall said that detailed information of the expenses of the late Boyal Commissions wore in course of preparation, and if not ready before the prorogation, they would be printed and circulated amongst members. Replying to Mr Bryce, The Hon. J. Hall said the claims of the Wanganui Harbor Board, reported on by the petitions committee, had not yet been fully considered by the Government, but the matter would be carefully considered. Replying to Mr Barron, The Hon, J. Hall said the Government were not disposed to grant free railway passes to delegates attending the Municipal Conference on amendments required in the law. NEW BILL. Sir G. Geey introduced a Bill to give equal rights to all descendants of Natives in New Zealand, which was read a first time. [Left sitting.]
