WELLINGTON, September 17.

The following are the amendmenta in the schedule of the Representation Bill, as proposed by the Governor’s message and submitted for consideration of the House, so for as the Canterbury electorates ore concerned:—ln Stanmore district boundaries the words, “towards the south by the river Avon,” are inserted. The St. Alb sn’s boundaries now read as follows t—- “ This district ia bounded towards the west and north-west from Lincoln road by the read separating section 113 from 118 to Biccarton road, and by a straight line drawn from the north-west corner of section 155 to the road separating section 18 from 80, and by that road to the rood separating section 242 from 463, and by that road to the cross drain, thence by Norman’s road, Map road, McFadden’s road, Phillpott’s road, thence towards the south by Innes road to section 136; towards the east by section 324,252, and 311,,t0 Springfield road, thence by that road to the North town bolt, thence by the river Avon to Lincoln road, and by that road to the starting point.” Avon district is now to be bounded towards the north by the Ashley and Kaiapoi electoral districts ; towards the east by the sea, towards the south by the north bank of the river Avon, from its mouth to the Furakanui creek, thence towards the west by that creek to section 1071, thence again towards the south by section 1133, 345,324,Fhi1p0tt’s road and McFaddon’s road, thence by sections 243, 299, 242, 143, 80, and a lino to the north west corner of section 155, thence by section 155 and a road to the south-east boundary of section 145, thence by that boundary line till it is crossed by a creek running easterly into the river Heathoote, the middle of that creek till it meets a line in continuation of the southeast boundary of section No. 180, the line eo continued to the south-east boundary of section No. 180, the middle of the rood lying on the north-west boundary of section No. 156 as far as a point where that road first meets a branch of the river Heathoote, then a line drawn thence due west to a point where it crosses the great south road, and by the great south road and towards the west by the Waimakariri and Boss road and the Weeden and Boss road. Timaru district is bounded towards the west by the road commencing at the Washdyko creek between sections 1864 and 3131, running southerly to the south-east corner of section 2001, thence westerly to the north-west corner of 3963, thence by the road running south-easterly to the southern boundary of the municipality of Timarn, thence towards the south by the southern boundary of that municipality to the sea, and towards the east by the sea and by Washdyke creek to the starting point. The above are all the alterations in Canterbury district boundaries.
