[PES PEBBS ASSOCIATION.] WELLINGTON, September 13. Political. It is stated that Mr W. T. L. Travers and Mr Edward Stofford will stand for Te Aro, Mr Hutchison for South Wellington, and Mr Levin for Torndon, at the coming election. The s s. TuiA telegram, received from the captain of the Tui this morning, states that the vessel was floated off last night. The engine-room and main hold filled with water, and he was oompelled to beach her again. Her bottom is severely damaged, but efforts wore being made to stop the leak, so as to get ber in smooth water. Floating appliances will now have to bo uted. She is insured in the National office for £3OOO, reinsured to the extent of £2500 as follows : Colonial, £SOO ; New Zealand, £SOO ;■ Victoria, £500; South British, £SOO ; Union, £250 ; Batavia, £250.
