The Customs duties collected at Christchurch on Tuesday, September sth, were as follows .—Spirits, £i9Blßs4d; tobacco, £74 14s 6d; wine, £l9 13s; beer, £34 6s 6d ; sugar, £sl Is 6d; tea, £6lCs; goods by weight, £919 T6a 9d ; ad valorem, £121583 ; other duties, £l6O 17s 6d. Total, £2760 4s 7d. At tho usual sitting of tho Waste Lauds Board held at Christchurch on Tuesday, Soptemeer sth, sales were made as follows :—Akaroa, 4Ga.; Geraldine, Ba. 3r. lOp. Total acreage sold, 54a. 3r. lOp. Total cash received, £lO9 12s 6d. Refunds on account of former purchases were made in the amount of £4 11s. Tho sales made at tho Waste Lands Office in the month ending August 31st, 1831, were as follows: Ordinary; Ashley, 346 a. Or. 18p.; Selwyn, 214 a. 3r. 12p ; Akaroa, 1552 a. 3r. 36j).; Ashburton, 31a. Or. 3p.; Geraldine, 4a. Or. 7p.; Waimnte, 396 a. lr. 4p. Deferred payments; Village settlements, 31a. 2r. 6p. Total acreage sold, 1579 a. 3r. 6p. Total cash received, £3407 18s sd. Eefnnds on account of former purchases were made in the amount of £1669 14s 9d.
