Adelaide wheat is quoted, ex warehouse, to-day at 565; New Zealand, ex warehouse, 55s 6d ; Adelaide flonr unchanged at 41s 6d, ex warehouse; Australian tallow is without quotable change; best beef, 375; best mutton, 30s. At tho wool sales to-day 10,200 hales were catalogued. A fair demand was experienced. The Tunisian War. The “ Morning Post” to-day publishes a telegram from Paris, stating that M. Roustin, the French President at Tunis, has sent a despatch to his Government, informing it that the Bey was acting under the orders of the Saltan of Turkey in supporting and inciting the Arab tribes to rebel against French authority. M. Roustin is further reported to have urged that the deposition of the Bey, and the occupation of Tunis by the French, are absolutely necessary in order to bring about a settlement of the present disorder in the country. PARIS, September 4. Railway Accident. A serious railway collision has occurred on the Paris, Lyons and Marseilles railway. Thirty persons were killed, and fifteen seriously injured. ST. PETERSBURG, September 4. Two of the Mighty Ones. It has transpired that a meeting between his Majesty the Czar Alexander 111, and the Emperor William of Germany has been arranged to be held at an early date. It is not yet known where the meeting will take place. CALCUTTA, September 5. Preparing to FightIntelligence has been received from Afghanistan, announcing that the Ameer Abdnr Rahman has left Cabal, and has arrived at Eholat i Ghilzai to assume command of his forces at that place.
