[ksutee’s telegrams.] LONDON, September 3. Irish Rioting. News is to-hand from Limerick that a serious eviction riot took place to-day between the police and people. The police succeeded in dispersing the rioters, of whom fifteen were severely wounded in the encounter which took place. Nice PeopleThe “ Times ” to-day publishes a telegram from India stating that nows has been received from Candahar that Ayoub Khan has proclaimed bis intention of not proceeding with any further hostile action against the Ameer, and that ho has invited recruits for a jehad, or holy war against the English in Afghanistan. The proclamation, however, is believed by the “ Times ” correspondent to he a ruse on the part of Ayoub to obtain arms. Shipping.
