The London “ Cuckoo,” speaking of weddings, says that “at one of the fashionable weddings this week the bride carried a bouquet 6ft. in circumference. It is to be hoped that this preesdont will not be followed. It would mean ruin to men with a large circle of lady friends and small incomes.”
One artist claims to have got 640 different positions from the same model—a man. Presume the model had a boil.—“ Boston Pest.” The season of ocean travel is now at its height. Thousands of poor immigrants are flocking here to America to make fortunes, and thousands of rich immigrants are rushing oS to Europe to spend them. —[“ New York Sun,”] Miss Susan B. Anthony tells the “ Boston Traveller ” that her misaisn is to appeal to the reason of men. And the “ Brooklyn Eagle ” adds, “ It is commonly believed that Miss Anthony is not a woman to appeal to their hearts.”
