Wanaka arrived yesterday afternoon from Wellington after a severe weather passage of twenty-five hours. She sailed last night for Dunedin. The barque Planter, entered outwards at Hobart for this port on the 22nd ult.. and the Young Diok was to leave Hobart for Timarn on the 27th.. „ The Union Steamship Company's s.a. Boto mahana arrived yesterday morning from Melbourne, Hobart, and Southern ports, and sailed in the afternoon for Wellington and East Coast ports. THE LUTTERWORTH. Messni Shaw, Saville and Co.'s barque Luttervnrth, Captain Fearaon, arrived yesterday afternoon from London. She had an uneventful passage of ninety-six days. It is but eight months Bince the veasel left hero for the Old Country with a cargo of Canterbury produce, and she has thus made a very good round trip. Twenty passengers arrived by her, all of whom testify to the pleasure of the voyage and the courtesy and kindnesEi of Captain Pearson and hia officers. Mr Kinsay, representing the agents of the vessel, Messrs Edwards, Bennett and Co., boarded her immediately upon her arrival, and last evening entered her at the Customs, due notice of which in given to consignees in the usual column. The names of the passengers and particulars of the vessel's cargo are given above. Of the voyage Captain Pearson reports leaving London on May 27th, and the Downs on the 28th, taking final departure from the Start on the 30th. Had fine weather totheN.E. trades, met with on June the 9th, in 31.59 N. They proved of fair strength. Cape de Yerd Islands were sighted on the 15th of June, and the Equator was crossed on the 26th of June, in 30.16 W. Good S.E. trades were carried to 22 S., after which light winds and fine weather were experienced. Sighted Tristan d'Achuna, and rounded the Cape on the Ist of August. Strong westerly winds prevailed in running down the easting, the average parallel being 45 S. Crossed the meridian of Cape Leuwin on the 19th of August, in 46.59 S., and passed Tasmania six day a afterwards in 49.9 S. The South Cape of Stewart's Island was sighted last Tuesday, since which strong southerly winda have prevailed.
