CITY COUNCIL ELECTION.
To the Juiitorofthe Globe, Sib, —Whilst there appears to be some interest taken in other wards of the city, the ratepayers of the North-west Ward are going to sleep. Is it that they are perfectly satisfied with their present member, Or. Lambert, who epende most of his time—not like Japhet in search of his father—but seeking after the lost tribes of Israel, I would suggest to that gentleman that, as there is an extra member wanted in lieu of Mr Oherrill, that he should induce one of the Hebrew persuasion to come forward to assist him in the search. Seriously speaking, it behoves the ratepayers to awake from their slumbers, and bestir themselves in obtaining two suitable candidates of common sense to represent their interests, and that of the city generally. Yours, Ac., NORTH-WEST WARD.
