The Wreck of the Schooner Rona. The search party have returned from their investigation of the wreok of the vessel at Kaipara Heads. There is no doubt that the vessel is the schooner Bona, and that all hands have perished. The board, with the vessel's name on, has been brought to town and identified. The Natives have burnt the vessel down to the copper, in order to hide signs of pilfering and to secure the copper. As she now lies on the Band she is not worth £lO. Two Men DrownedTwo navvies, named David Bamsay and John Fallays, wore drowned Iwhile going in a punt to Limebmners' Creek railway works. The punt capsized, throwing five men out, three of whom escaped with difficulty. DT7NEDIN, August 19. No DividendThe half yearly report of the Standard Insurance Company shows, after providing for ail losses, a balance of £5190, which the directors propose to carry forward. They hope to bo able to resume paying dividends next half-year. Ten Per Cent. The Now Zsaland Drug Company declare an interim dividend at the rate of 10 per cent. Sporting. Mr H. Prince, with his string of horses, left to-day. A Fortune. The wife of Kobert Chapman, ex-Registrar of tho Supreme Court, by the death of her uncle, ex-Governor Sutherland, receives a fortune of £7500.
