The City of Tanjore left London on June 26th for here. The barque Bells left Nowca3tlo for this port August sth. The cutter Hero hence wa3 at Kaikoura on Wednesday last. The Edwin Bassott hence arrived at Fydney on August 3rd. The Mary Blair hence arrived nt Adelaide on August Bth. The Cooleen, from Glasgow for Lyttolton, was spoken in 46 N. 11 W. on Juno 11th " all well," and again on June 15th in 39 N. 13 W. The Eangitiki, bound from London to this port, waa Bpoken on Juno 2Sth in 49 N. 5 W. She wa3 than three days out. There wore at London on July Ist loading for this port the Pleiades and the Wangauui. At Olaagow the Cheviot, 491 ton 3, and the Norman McLeod, 831 tons. Those vessels have Binco sailed. The Union Steamship Company a s.s. Albion reported by wire to have collided with the a.a. Wuitaki in coming out of Port Chalmers, arrived yesterday afternoon, to all appearanco in as complete order as she ever wa3. It was true that a collision did occur between tho tteamers named, but no serious damago resulted. The Albion had touched on one of Port Chalmers' famous sandbanks, and white endeavoring to get free was struck by the Waitaki astern. SHIPPING TELEGRAMS. Bluff, August 19. The Bingarooma left Sandridgo on August 13tn at 3 p.m., arriving at Hobart on 15th at 4 a.m. ; left the same night at 4 25 p.m , and -waa abrea3t the South-west Cap 9 light at 7.10 p.m. on 18th, arriving at tha Bluff this mcrniug at 6.30. Light northerly winds wore experienced during the passage. Passengers—For the Bluff—Mrs Vyner and infant, Moaars Moor, Vyner, Pearson, Liven, Ewing, and 2 steerage. For Dunedin —Captain and Mr 3 Fraser, Mr Henry Beaumont, advance agent to Louise Pomeroy'a dramatic company, and 2 steerage. For Lyttelton—Messrs Agar, Lee.and 5 steerage. For Wellington—Messrs Sheer, Waterhonae, Hare, Mi3a Alexander, Mrs Peat, Mr and Mrs Alexander. For Auckland—Br. and Mrs Wine, Misses Cronadale (2.) Wellington, August 18. Arrives Enterprise, brigantine, from Timaru. Sailod—Wanaka, for the North; Grafton, for Lyttelton ; Neptune, brig, for Newcastle.
