Consols are unchanged at lOOf; Now Zealand Five per Cent. 10-40 Loan, 105 ; New Zealand Five per Cent. 1889 Loan, 104£; New Zealand Four and a-Half per Cent. 1879-1904 Loan, ex dividend. In tho wheat market prices arc still firmly maintained. Adelaide, ex warehouse, 525; New Zealand wheat, ex ship, 51s 6d ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, is quoted to-day at 38s, an advance of 6d. The damage to the English wheat crops, by excessive rain, has been fully confirmed by further reports. It is expected that tho yield this season will bo below tho average. Telegrams also are to hand from Franco reporting that a deficiency is expected in the wheat crops of that country. Australian tallow is unchanged; best beef, per ewt,, 34s 6d ; best mutton, 36s fid. In the House of Commons, to-day, the Right Hon. W. E. Gladstone moved the consideration of tho Irish Land Bill, as re-amended in the House of Lords on Friday last, the 12th inst.
