DEAR SIR, —In compliance with your instructions we have made a searching analysis of the six samples of tea handed to ns, and we find the following main result, viz. : Ash, 4J per cent. ; soluble salts, 4 per cent ; extract, 54 per cent. ; and theine, 2i per cent. This shows them to be Absolutely Pure. Coffee labled No. 1 is genuine, No. 2 shows a trace of chicory only.
