Wakatipu arrived at 6.30 a.m. yesterday from Wellington and Sydney, and left for Port Chalmers at 4 p.m. The ateam-tng Lyttelton will leave to-day for Wellington. She will thero be placed on the slip and overhauled. The vessel has done an immense amonnt of work since her machinery was thoroughly put through the engineer’s hands, so that her absence from here of from ten to fourteen days will be fully occupied in getting the vessel into unexceptionable order.
