[EEUTEE’p TELEGRAMS.) LONDON, August 11. ShippingArrived—Ships Westfa, from Lyttelton; Westland, from Timaru; Haviras, from Oamaru. The Transvaal. In the House of Lords to-day the Right Hon. Earl Kimberley stated, in reply to a question, that the British Government had decided not to sever any portion of the Transvaal occupied hy the Boers from the territory which had been assigned to the South African Republic hy the Transvaal Convention. CALCUTTA, August 11. Afghan. Telegrams are to hand from Afghanistan reporting that Ayouh Khan, although strongly supported hy his adherents, is hampered hy want of arms, and that his advance is delayed for this reason. It is also announced that a strong force of the Ameer’s partizans has advanced from Cahul to Khelat-i-GhilzaT, a fort about eighty miles to the northwest of Candahar, commanding the road between that place and Cahul. Ayonb Khan, according to the latest intelligence, is still in tho neighbourhood of Gandahar.
