[PHB FBBSS ASSOCIATION.] NEW PLYMOUTH, August 10. Interesting ItemA whare at Bhotu, oooupied by Mr Corbet and family, was burnt down at 6 45 yesterday morning. No one was burnt, and nothing saved. The loss is £6O. The origin of the tiro is unknown.
The ss- Samson. Last night the wreck of the Samson got off the South Spit, and drifted on to the North Beach. She is now lying across the channel, blooking the entrance to the Waitara Biver. WELLINGTON, August 10. Seizure of Tobacco. A box of tobacco has been seized from the Tramway Hotel, and the proprietor, Mr Cbas. Plimmer, will be charged with having an unstamped box of tobacco in his possession. ... Shipping. The barque Langstone, ninety-five days from London, is at the Heads.
