The new New Testament is being discussed very much at present, and the simmered down opinion seems to be that very little has been done either for better or for worse by the translators. The papers here think it was very enterprising in the " New York Herald" to publish the entire Testament in one issue, but they forget that the "Herald" will do anything to get what is really new for its readers. Wait till it gets to hoar about the Old Testament. The London papers are probably not aware that when the Prince of Wales was at Niagara Falls.the "Herald" correspondent telegraphed the whole Book of Revelations, and the editor was writing a leader on the wonderful and exclusive news obtained by that paper, when the editorial was rendered useless by the dispatch from the correspondent that he was only keeping the wires.
