OHRIBTOHUROH. Satubday, July 30. [Before J. Ollivior and J. E. Parker, Eaqs., J.P.'a.J Dbunkenness. Mary Kennedy was brought up charged with being found drunk, and with being a habitual drunkard within the meaning of the Aot, having been thrice convicted within the preceding twelve months The police stated that she wob perfectly incorrigible. Since 1876 she had been up at. ohort intervals for the same offence. She was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment with hard labor. For a first offence a man was fined ss. Laecbnt and Assault.—Henry Peterson, who has been some time on remand charged with the above offences, was again remanded till Tuesday next, as one of the magistrates who heard the case was unable to attend from illness. Indecency and Assault.—Henry Montrose, for committing an ajt of indecency in a public place, and for assaulting Mr Allen, of the Golden Age Hotel, who remonstrated with him, was fined £3 or seven days' imprisonment.
