The medical attendants of Admiral the Earl of Clanwilliam have decided that his Lordship is now convalescent. H.M.S. Bacchante arrived to-day from Melbourne. It is believed, however, that the squadron will he further detained for some days until she has finished provisioning and coaling. Smallpox Increasing. Small pox is again increasing in the city in spite of the stringent measures that have been adopted by the Board of Health for preventing the spread of the contagion. Another case has been reported to-day from Wooloomooloo.
