TYPHOID GERMS.

To the Editor of the Qlooe. gra in my report to the Board of Health on the recent outbreak of typhoid fovor, caused by milk from a certain dairy, when 1 stated that in seven other cases of typhoid it was worthy of note that the milk supply came from aoven separate dairies, I meant to infer that it was highly improbable the milk wai at fault in theso seven ca^es. I contrasted the seven cases with the thirty-five as evidence that the thirty-five cesea were attributable to milk, whereas the seven were not. . , . I shall feel obliged by your inserting this explanation, aa your leader in to-day s paper may cause unnecessary alarm. Yours, &0., COURTNEY NED WILL, Medical Officer Board of Health. July 27th, 1881.
