Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under SATURDAY, JULY 16. For United Kingdom (via San Francisco), Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of New Zealand, &0., per Wanaka, as follows: —Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m.; late fee letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6 30 p.m. registered letters, at 5 p.m.; money orders at 3 p.m. ; guard’s van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on August 30th. MONDAY, JULY 18. For Qreymouth, Hokitika, and Australian Colonies, United Kingdom via Brindisi (specially addressed). Continent of Europe, Point de;Galle, India, the East, Aden, Mauritius, Natal, Cape ot Good Hope, Suez, the Mediterranean Ports, &0., per Hero, at 1.40 p.m.; late fee letters, at ?. p.m.; money orders, at 12 noon; registered: letters, at 1 p.m.; guard’s van, 2.40 p.m. train.
