The Arabs, however, who wore in strong force, opened a heavy fire upon the boats, and tbe troops failed to effect a landing. ROME, July 9. The Italian Loan. The loan which Messrs Baring Bros and J. and C. Hambro and Co. have engaged to float on behalf of the Italian Government is for £30,000,000, bearing interest at 5 per cent.
