The Land BillIn the House of Commons to-day tho consideration of the Irish Land Bill in committee was proceeded with, and further progress was made with the measure. Clause 12 was, after discussion, postponed, hnt clauses 13 to 24 were finally passed without amendment. PARIS, July 8. Monetary ConferenceThe International Monetary Conference which opened its sittings here on the 19th April last, and has sat on various occasions since that date, has now broken up without any definite decision having been arrived at on the subject of a universal adoption of hi-metallism. The Conference will, however, meet again in April next year, and in the meantime the various Governments will he requested to open diplomatic correspondence on the question for the consideration of which the Conference assembled. ROME, July 8. A New Italian LoanIt is announced that the English financial houses, Baring Bros, and O. and J. Hamhro and Co., have contracted with the Italian Government for a new loan, the amount of which has not however transpired. It will he issued next week, and upon conditions which will obviate the present monetary stringency [now felt in Italy.
