The following are the estimated receipts and proposed expenditure of the land fund for the current year:— Receipts. —Land sales, £333,000; balance from last year, £32,373 ; total, £305,373. Pboposed Expen diiukb. Permanent appropriations —One third of the proceeds ot the deferred payment land payable to local bodies, £30,600; New Plymouth Harbor Board endowment, £33,000; Ellesmere and Forsyth reclamation and Akaroa railway trust, £21,266 ; subsidies to local bodiec in arrears, £IOO. Annual appropriations—Crown Lands Department, £2G,415; Crown lands miscellaneous services, £7025 ; coalfields, £221 ; Survey Department, £91,278; Native Land Court and other special surveys, £13,609 ; photographic and lithographic printing branch, £2044 ; rates to local bodies, £27,000. Roads Conbxbuction Boabd. —£118,822 ; total, £365,373 (shillings and pence omitted )
