Total, £839,068. Seouri'iej belonging to the public debts sinking fund, on February 14th, 1881: —De-

Securities belonging to the Public Trust Office on the 21st April, 1881 ; Immigration and Public Works Loan, £7,700; General Purposes Loan, £28,300; Treasury Bills, £29,200; Deficiency Bills, £5000; Securities lodged by Insurance Companies in the Trust Office under the provision of the Life Assurance Companies Act, 1873 : Australian Mutual Provident Company, £21,100; National Mutual, £5100; total, £96,400. Securities belonging to tho Public Works Accounts on sth February, 1881; Treasury Bills, £452,700; Deficiency Bills, £500,000 ; Wanganui Hatbor Board Bonds, £17,000; total, £969,700. Securities belonging to the Nelson Prize Fund, on sth February, 1881—Treasury Bills, £300; Mortgage, £700; total, £IOOO. Securities belonging to the Armed Constabulary Reward Fund —Treasury Bills, £2OOO. The return is dated 30th June, 1881, and signed by the Controller.
