MAIL NOTICES.
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under: — THUBSDAY, JULY 7. For the United Kingdom via Brindisi (for specially addressed correspondence only), Continent of Europe, Point de Galle, India, China, Japan, the East, Aden, Mauritius, Natal, Cape ot Good Hope, Suez, the Mediterranean Ports, Australian Colonies, Otago, &c., pera.a. Hawes, to connect with s.s. Eotomahnna, ea follows: — Ordinary letters, at IX a.m; books and newspapers at 10 a.m. ; registered letters, at 10 a.m ; late fee letters, at ii.ls a.m. ; guard’s van, 12 noon train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonics per Bingarooma, at 3.20 p.m. ; lata fee letters, at 3.3 i) p.m.; Board’s van, 4 p.m. train. F BID AY, JULY 8. For West Coast Sounds, per West Coast Mail, to connect with the s.s. W allace, at 7 a.m. The nest mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, &c , &c., will close ou July 16th.
