The Customs duties collected at Chriatcburoh on Saturday, July 2nd, were as follows :—Spirits, .6310 15s 7d; beer, .£142 14s 2d; sugar, M 8 4a 4d ; tea, £6 13a 4d; goods by weigat, £9 4a 5d ; ad valorem, £23 7s. Total, £54118s lid. WOOL SALES. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following telegram, dated London, July 2nd : " Wool—The sales closed firmly, nearly at an average improvement of id to Id per lb on last sai<3 prices. The principal advance has been _in medium and inferior greasy. The total quantity soli during past sales is 330,000 bales; 41,000 bales have been held over for future disposal; 200.000 bales have been taken for export.
