MAIL NOTICES.
Mails dose at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alterations) as under SATUBDAY, JULY 2. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 7.30 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. MONDAY, JULY 4 For Kaikoura, per jane Douglas, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters, at 330 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. FRIDAY, JULY 8. For West Coast Sounds, per West Coast Mail, to connect with the s.s. Y/allaco, at 7 a.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, &c , will close on July 16th. This mail will be due in London on August 30th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
