COURSING.
PAPANTTI CLUB. The second meeting of this club was concluded yesterday, the meet being at Mr J. Carpenter's farm, Yaldhurst. The second ties for the Members' Plate were continued by Bashful Maid and Master Willie being prt in the slips, Shortly after a racing bare was started, the Maid leading for about forty yards, when Willie raced past and turned, holding possession for a long time-, after which the Maid got in pnd worked well, but the hare was lost at the plantation, and Willie scored. Spy followed in a gruelling bye. Prairie Bird led Cleo, when the latter raced past and turned, keeping the lead to the fence. Both were through quickly, and a series of exchanges followed, but the Bird soored. Flying Fish then led Ogles, beating him pointless. Spy and Master Willie followed, the former leading grandly and winning easily. The owners of Templeton and Spy decided to divide the St. Leger. Prairie Bird and Blush Bose then met, and two hares rising, each followed separately, causing a no course. A course ensued between them, in which Bose was beaten at the fence by one point, although she beat the Bird when out of the judge's Bight. Flying Fish then ran a bye, and subsequently meeting Prairie Bird beat her hollow, winning the stakes. Membsbs' Plate—Second Ties. Prairie Bird beat Cleo Plying Fish beat Ogles Blush Bose ran a bye Third Ties. Prairie Bird beat Blush Bose Flying Pish ran a bye Final Course. Mr H. MoConnell's w f b Flying Fish by Azamat—Bubina. beat Mr J. Piper's (db) bd b Prairie Bird, by Sweep—Fly, and took the stake St. Lkgbb—Second Ties (continued.) Master Willie beat Baabf dl Maid Spy ran a bye Third Ties. Spy beat Master Willie Final Course. Mr H. McConnell's fd Spy, by Sweep—Liz, and Mr B. Haskett's r ofd Templeton divided, without the latter running a bye. It should be mentioned that both Bashful Maid and Cleo got badly hurt on Wednesday in the wire fences, whioh aided their defeat. A word of thanks is due to Messrs Bailey and the other property owner, who generously placed their grounds at the Club's disposal for tho meeting.
