MAIL NOTICES
Mails close at tho Chief Post Office for the following placer, (subject to tho necessary alterations) as under; — SATURDAY, JULY 2. For Northern Verts, per Hawea, at 730 pm. The guard's van must not bo used for this mail. FRIDAY, JULY 8. For West Coast Sounds, per express-train, to connect with the s.s. Wallace, at 7 o.m. The next mail for the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, &c , will close on July 16th. Tnis mail will be due in London on August 30th. SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
