Gladstone announce that on account of the slow progress that had hitherto boon made with the Irish Land Bill, and the opposition that had l been offered to the passage of various clauses in commit! oe, the Government were compelled to ask the House for further facilities for the despatch of business. He therefore moved that the Bill be accorded absolute precedence upon the Order Paper. The motion, after some debate, was adopted. The Premier subsequently stated that the Government hoped that the business of the session would bo sufficiently advanced by the commencement of August to allow the prorogation to take place about that date. CONSTANTINOPLE, June 28. The Late Sultan. Midhat Pasha and eight others have been found guilty of the murder of the Sultan Abdul Aziz in 1876.
