In reference to the fees, it was resolved to suggest that they bo reduced £lO, or that the £SO cover the fee for an extra bar. It was also decided to endeavor to have a clause relating to Sunday hours inserted. A deputation of the Wellington Licensed Victuallers waited on the city members tiday, urging them to endeavor to have the Licensing Bill thrown out. Mr Hutclism and Mr Levin replied, that while they agreed that several amendments were necessary, the Bill was a right one in principle, and if thrown out would bo prejudicial to the interest of the public.
