The Hon. W. Morgan has resigned his position as Premier and Chief Secretary, owing to pressure of private engagements. The Hon. George Hawker, Minister for Works, has been summoned by his Excellency the Governor to accept tho vacant portfolio, and undertake the reconstruction of the Ministry.
