Mails close e.t the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alteraturns) as under : TOE3DAY, JUNE 14. For Otago and Australian Colonies, per RiDgarooma, at 1.40 p.m. ; late feo letters at 2 p m.; guard's van, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northorn Ports, per Wanaka,, at 7.30 p.m. The guard's van must not be used for this mail. SATURDAY, JUNE 18. For United Kingdom (via San Francisco), Continents of Europe and America, West Indies, Sandwich Islands, Northern Ports of Now Zealand, &c, per Penguin, as follows: — Ordinary letters at 6.30 p.m.; late feo letters, at 7 p.m. ; books and newspapers, at 6.30 p.m.; money orders nt 3 p.m. ; registered letters, at 5 p.m.; guard's van, 8.30 p.m. train. This mail will be due in London on the 2nd August, 1861 SYDNEY J. DICK, Chief Postmaster.
