MAIL NOTICES
Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to tbe necessary alterations) as under FRIDAY, JUNE 10. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonies, per Rotcmahana, at 1.40 p m.; lata fee letters at 2 p m,; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m.train. For Westport, per Star of the South, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters at 3.50 p.m.; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, JUNE 11. For Northern Porta, per Hawea, at 7.30 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, &c , via San Francisco, will close on Saturday, 18th June.
