Arrived —June 9. Howard, schooner, 47 tons. Coffee, from Picton. Cuff and Graham, agents. Aratapa, brigantine, 121 tons, Bower, from Kaipara. Master, agent. Cleared—Juno 9. Dido, schooner, 58 tons, Johnston, for Waitapn. W. Harding, ogent. Sailed—June 8. Grafton, s.s , 242 tons, Johnson, for West•port. Passengers Mrs Milton and two children, Mr Henderson. P. Cnnningham and Co., agents. Stormbird, s.s., 70 tons, Dawson, for Kaikonra and Wellington. P. Cnnningham and Co., agents. The s.s. Grafton arrived yesterday from Oamaru, and left last night for too West Coast. Captain Cameron, of the steamer Titan, reports seeing the barques Anne Melhuish and Crownthorpe, and the ship Midlothian, yesterday, off Pigeon Bay. The brig Wave, which had sheltered at the Bay, was also within sight, having made another start on her voyage to the North. The s s. Stormbird arrived yesterday from Wellington, via Kaikonra, and left last night on the return trip. Should sufficient inducement bo forthcoming the steamer will continue in the trade. She is in command of Captain Dawson, well known as a coasting mariner, and he has with him Mr C. F. S. Maundrell, late of the barque Thurso, as mate. The steamer Akaroa, under chorter to Capt. Mallock, returned yesterday after a cruise round the Peninsula. The steamer was away altogether seventeen days, during which nil the bays were visited, and some excellent sport was hod in deep sea fishing, [Capt, Mallock, who engaged the steamer specially for recuperative purposes, returned very much bonefitted in health, SHIPPING TBLEGKAMS. Passengers —Miss Thompson, Mr and Mrs Eichardson, Mr Pysent. Poet Chalmers, June 8. Arrived—Te Anau, from the East Coast. At the heads, Jessie Nicol, from Macquarie Islands.
