Mails close at the Chief Post Office for the following places (subject to the necessary alt eratione) as under - THUBSDAY, JUNE 9. For Otago, per Wanaka, at 11.15 a.m.; late fee letters, at 11.30 a.m.; guard’s van, 12 noon train. For Otago, per Wakatipu, at 1.40 p.m. ; late fee letters at 2 pm.; guard’s van, 2.30 p.m. train. For Northern Ports and Australian Colonics, per Eotomahana, at 3.20 p.m.; late fee letters at 3.30 p.m. ; guard’s van, 4 p.m. train. SATURDAY, JUNE 11. For Northern Ports, per Hawea, at 7.30 p.m. The guard’s van must not be used for this mail. The next mail for the United Kingdom, &c., via San Francisco, will close on Saturday, 18th June. SYDNEY J.
