Monk, Club Hotel, the chairman drew attention to the irregularities that had taken place in the hotel, during which the officers of the Court had been obstructed in the discharge of their duties, and also to the statements made, from which it was clear that a person had entered upon the hotel under a bill of sale, and without any license or transfer sanctioned or granted by the Commissioners, had been selling without a license. In consequence of the existing state of affairs, the Commissioners had decided not to grant a renewal certificate for the license of the Club to Mr Monk. Miscellaneous. —An application lodged for the transfer of the Club Hotel to J. Carpenter was not gone on with. An extension was granted to J. Eoberts, Junction Hotel, for a coursing club meeting on the Bth and 9th inst. The .Chairman, before the rising of the Court, said he had to refer to a matter which had been brought under notice, and he had to say that the Commissioners would seriously consider the question of withdrawing the licenses of any publicans who permitted lads under sixteen to assemble in their hotels to drink, smoke, or play at cards. This concluded the business.
